I have used Haggai Mortgage bank and its okay. It depends on what your overall plan is. But i Know you must have banked with them consistently for 6 months before requesting for a loan and must have a source of income that is consistent.Mon, Aug 13, 2018 2:33 PM
If you already have the clothesmaking/fashion design skills and you love doing it, why not invest more time in building up your client base? Advertise frequently on social media, try not to touch your money first, except maybe to fulfil a client's order and see where that leads.Wed, Aug 8, 2018 5:42 PM
For me, I believe having a career mentor is necessary but NOT compulsory. Career mentoring doesn't have to be a one-on-one thing. The person(s) you've chosen could be your career mentor from afar. That means you follow them closely (via their social media platforms, attend events they would be speaking at etc), follow the influencers they also look up too, read their books if they've written any and so on. Above all, I'd say that you should find someone doing the kind of thing you want to be doing and figuring out how they put those pieces together and how that could inform your own path to improvement. I hope this answers your question.Thu, Jul 26, 2018 9:37 AM
The truth is you are never going to have an idea that's never been heard. Everything you want to do, there's someone else doing it. The question remains how can you do it different. The present status quo in the industry you're trying to break into cannot be everything you ever wanted, right? So note those things you admire and the things you think could be better and use that to make a difference, call it Kemi's touch. Also, the fact that someone else is doing and succeeding at the venture you're trying to start should be a motivation that if they could succeed at it, then you can do better. It should motivate you rather than discourage you. I hope this helps.Mon, Jul 16, 2018 12:42 PM
One thing that helps when one is in such a dilemma as this is passion. Forget about what you studied in school, what are you passionate about? What would you like to keep doing till you're old and grey? Answer these questions and you're good to go. This is because even when it seems as though you've failed, all you see are lessons. Passion also comes in handy here, no matter the obstacles, if you are passionate about a thing, you'll keep pressing and eventually the universe will align with your efforts and it'll look like an overnight success. Hope this helps your decision making.Mon, Jul 16, 2018 12:14 PM
First bank is very supportive. They have been a part of our journey since the beginning. They urged us on and supported us immensely when we had very few kids in our school, it didn't discourage them that we were not many, rather they saw a brighter future in us. It's therefore not a surprise to see that they've come up with this great platform.

I have been banking with FirstBank for over 10 years. I have 6 different accounts with FirstBank. FirstGem has supported the expansion of my School and also provided working capital for my Cleaning and Fumigation business. I recommend FirstGem to every woman.
My Banking relationship with FirstBank commenced 7 months ago and they were quick to offer us an educational fund to help wrap up the final stage of our new site in Jahi. Immediately after the funds were repaid, we were availed more funds to help bridge financial gaps. Firstbank has proven to be supportive and impacting women.

First bank has been good to us. Flash back to 4 years ago when I started banking with them and I needed a loan, I hadn't qualified for the amount of money I was asking for but instead of making wait while I complete the process of eligibility, First bank offered me favorable soft loans. This is something I'll be forever grateful for.
